To BWHS  

We understand that most of us in our community are stretched with our time. Because of jobs, kids, activities, sports, clubs and life in general vying for our attention,  we try to gear our fundraising efforts towards things that don't even require you to leave your couch. Honestly!

How can you help fundraise?  

​

• Join the PTSO! 

  • Family Membership is $40

  • Teacher and Staff Membership is $10

  • There are two ways to join:

    • Online: you can complete and pay your membership online by either using PayPal or credit card (No fees!) Click here to join! 

    • Manual payment: Click here to complete the membership form. Then send your cash or check to the office in an envelope marked PTSO. Checks should be payable to BWHS PTSO.

• Link your Harris Teeter VIC grocery card to Briar Woods HS PTSO Click here​ for more info and a form you can submit for us to link your Harris Teeter card.

• Follow us on social media!

• Sign your child up to take SAT/ACT prep classes and practice tests. This is our largest fundraiser every year. The PTSO facilitates prep courses and practice tests through Kaplan and Turbo Tutoring to prepare for SAT & ACT tests throughout the year. A percentage of those fees is returned to the PTSO. Click here for more info about classes and practice tests we administer 4 times a year.

How can you help the PTSO with your time? 

​

• Volunteer for the annual holiday Cookie Fest for the teachers and staff in December.

• Volunteer to help with Teacher Luncheons and Teacher Appreciation Week. 

• Volunteer to help with Senior Events.

• Attend PTSO meetings! We need/welcome your ideas!
